September 3: 2nd Annual FryFest in the Iowa River Landing! Stop by the museum to see "Until the Game is Won" an exhibit exploring Iowa Hawkeye football during the golden years of the 1950s.
September 19: At 2:00. Local author Bob Hibbs will speak about his latest book, Iowa City. Iowa City looks at the city through a historic postcards. He will also be available to sign copies of the book, which are available for purchase at the JCHS Museum.
September 25: JCHS is participating in the 6th annual Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day! The JCHS Museum/Antique Car Museum of Iowa will offer FREE admission to visitors who present a Museum Day Ticket on September 25. October 10: JCHS Annual Meeting and presentation of the Irving B. Weber Award. More information on the Irving B. Weber Award.
